Saint Michael the Archangel
Saint Michael the Archangel is the spiritual warrior in the battle between good and evil — Heaven’s glorious “Commissioner of Police.” Sword raised and shield unbroken, he defends the innocent, commands Heaven’s armies, and protects all who serve.
Venerated as the patron saint of police officers and soldiers, Saint Michael embodies courage, sacrifice, and justice.
This statue stands as a sacred tribute and eternal sentinel, reminding us that their bravery endures and their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
"Defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of evil."
This statue was commissioned by Retired NYPD Detective Patrick J. Brosnan in honor of the fallen
Heaven’s Police Commissioner
This bronze figure shows St. Michael the Archangel carrying a fallen officer heavenward, his sword held aloft in righteous strength. Symbolically, the raised sword represents not only his eternal defense of justice but also the passage of a mortally wounded police officer into Heaven’s embrace. St. Michael has long been thought of as Heaven’s “Commissioner of Police”, a spiritual warrior who gives strength and courage to those who serve.
The Archangel Michael statue has been more than a bronze tribute. It has become a sacred place for grieving and a visible reminder of courage, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of law enforcement.
The Archangel Saint Michael is forever bound to places of sacrifice, standing as guardian and witness where families and communities gather in remembrance.

A Part of America Died By Harry Koch
Somebody killed a policeman today and a part of America died.
A piece of our country he swore to protect will be buried with him at his side.
The suspect that shot him will stand up in court with counsel demanding his rights,
While a young, widowed mother must work for her kids and spend many long, lonely nights.
The beat that he walked was a battlefield, too, Just as if he had gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won’t fly at half-mast to his name they will add a gold star.
Yes, somebody killed a policeman today, It happened in your town or mine,
While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors, a cop put his life on the line.
Now his ghost walks the beat on a dark city street, and he stands at each new rookie’s side:
He answered the call and gave his all, And a part of America died...
